June Knitting Stats

It's really been too hot to knit. So not much has happened this month.

I did finish 3 pairs of socks. In total I knit 2.8 balls of yarn / 1,157 yards of yarn. I hope to have more yardage out next month, but really it will depend on if it cools down or stays this hot.

May stats

This was my least productive knitting month this year. I only knit 3 balls of yarn/ 989 yards.

In total I finished 2 pairs of socks and 1 shawl. I spent most of my time working on the sock yarn blanket.

April Stats

In April, I finished 3 pairs of socks and 1 shawl. In total I used up 4 balls of yarn/ 1,464 yards.

March Stats

In March, I finished 1 pair of socks and 3 shawls. In total I used up 6 balls of yarn/ 1,752 yards.  This is my highest yardage for a single month in a very long time. I don't think I'll be able to repeat this amount in April.

Feb Stats

This month I finished a toddler sized cardigan, two pairs of socks, and one shawl. All in all I used up 3 balls of yarn/ 1,331 yards. (The yarn for the toddler cardigan was counted in January.) Anytime I reach over 1,000 yards in a month is deemed a good knitting month. So I'm pleased with the results.

January Stats

This was a very good knitting month! I used up 10 balls of yarn / 1,446 yards! A great way to kick off the new year. I finished 2 pairs of socks  (one of which still needs to be blogged about) and 2 rabbit stuffed animals. I count each ball of yarn used up as I knit it up. So I also have 3/4 of the rainbow cardigan done and 1/2 a dishcloth done.

December and End of the Year Stats

In December, I knitted up 3.5 balls of yarn/ 1,591 yards. I finished 2 shawls and 1 hat. I still need to blog about one of the shawls, but it is indeed done and blocking as we speak.

In 2015, I used up 50 balls of yarn/ 14,980 yards. I didn't quite make it to 15,000 yards, but I got close.

In total, I knitted 34 things: 13 shawls, 11 socks, 2 stoles, 2 toddler dresses, 1 dolly dress, 1 toddler vest, 1 toddler blanket, 1 scarf, 1 hat, 1 cowl.

November Stats

I finished 2 shawls in November.

In total I used up 4 balls of yarn/ 1,075 yards. Not too bad. I'm always happy to break 1,000 yards in a month.

October Stats

This was a slow knitting month. I only finished one shawl and made little progress on a blanket.

In total I used 4 balls of yarn/ 1,116 yards.

September Stats

In September, I finished 2 pairs of socks and 1 shawl.

In total I knit 4 balls of yarn/ 1,212 yards. I didn't knit as much as I thought I would, but at least I broke 1,000 yards.

August Stats

Real life was busy, so it was a very slow knitting month.

All in all I finished 1 pair of socks and 1 shawl. I also made some good progress on a second pair of socks. In total, I used up 3 balls of yarn/ 831 yards of yarn. I didn't quite make it to 1,000 yards, but there's always next month.

July Stats

In July I only finished 3.5 balls of yarn/ 1,164 yards.

I finished 3 pairs of socks and 1 wrap. It wasn't my best knitting month, but over 1,000 yards is good. So I'll take it. Next month will be another busy month in real life, so I'm not sure how much knitting time I'll have.

June Knitting Stats

This has been my most productive month all year.

I finished knitting 2 shawls and 1 pair of socks. I made good progress on another shawl and a baby blanket, but just haven't finished those items yet.

In total, I used up 4.5 balls of yarn/ 1,980 yards of yarn.

May Stats

This has been my most productive knitting month all year.

I used up 6.5 skeins of yarn/ 1,578 yards.

I finished a dress, a scarf, two pairs of socks, and a stole.

April Stats

This month I knit 2 dresses and made a lot of progress on two shawls.

I knit up 4.6 balls of yarn/ 1,427 yards. Very similar numbers to last month, so good progress. I hope I can keep up with breaking 1,000 yards every month.

March Stats

March was my best knitting month all year so far. I knit up 1 pair of socks, 1 shawl, and 1 baby top. In total, I used up 5 balls of yarn/ 1,203 yards.

February Stats

This month really got away from me. I did finish 1 pair of socks and 1 shawl.

In total I knit up 2 balls of yarn/ 780 yards.

January Knitting Stats

In January, I didn't knit as much as I would have liked. I think due to the big blanket project and cutting my finger all lead to a slow month.

This month I finished a blanket and a cowl. All in all I knit up 3.5 balls of yarn/ 714 yards. 

Even though February is a short month, I hope to have higher knitting numbers. 

Year End Knitting Stats

For December I finished a cowl and a shawl. In total I used up 3 balls of yarn/ 966 yards.

For the 2014 in total, I knit up 52.5 balls of yarn/ 15,480 yards. I've knit up more this year than I have in the past few years. I hope I can keep it up and knit a similar amount next year.

November Stats

In November, I used up 5 balls of yarn/ 1,356 yards of yarn. I finished one pair of socks and one shawl. Overall a pretty good knitting month. December will be busy with the holidays and taking care of end of the year stuff, so I don't anticipate a big knitting month.
