Whitewater socks

Pattern: My own plain vanilla socks

Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepherd's Worsted in Whitewater

Needles: US Size 3

Started On: June 16th

Finished On: June 20th

Comments: I didn't follow a pattern for this. I cast on 40 stitches and just knit plain socks. These socks knit up so quickly, I actually put them aside when they were done and then forgot about them. I just noticed them today and realized I had forgotten to blog about them. These socks remind me more of sky and clouds then water.

WIP Wednesday

The problem with finishing a bunch of stuff in a row, is that now I'm left with very little to show. I'm nowhere near finishing any of the other projects.

Oh Canada - I finished the first half and am just starting the second half.

Leaf Evolution - I just started this one last night

Socks - I plan on casting on a pair of sock soon out of this Neeley's Knits in Luna.

Holbrook Shawl

Pattern: Holbrook Shawl designed by Dee O'Keefe

Yarn: Jade Sapphire Cashmere Silk in Lupine

Needles: US Size 5

Started on: April 3rd

Finished on: June 13th

Comments: This is my "H" in my Lace A-Z Challenge. I really enjoyed knitting this one. I particularly like knitted on borders. This was my first time using this yarn. This yarn is some of the most precious in my stash. It was lovely to knit with the cashmere silk blend. I love how it turned out. This is also the last item from my basket dash! Yay!

WIP Wednesday

Holbrook - This is my "H" shawl for my Lace A-Z Challenge. I'm almost done with this one. I'm just working on the knitted on edging. This yarn is so lovely. It's a cashmere silk blend.

Oh! Canada - I started this one recently. It's going well. The yarn is Madelinetosh Pashmina which is another decadent yarn. It's Merino, silk and cashmere. Yumm.....

Glenallen Shawl

Pattern: Glenallen Shawl designed by Dee O'Keefe

Yarn: BMFA Laci in Rose Quartz

Needles: US Size 3

Started on: April 13th

Finished on: June 5th

Comments: This is my "G" for my Lace A-Z Challenge. This also counts as another item from my basketdash! The yarn is leftover from the Blooming Stitches shawl. Somewhere in the middle I lost momentum on this shawl and started knitting on lots of other projects. It was very hard to come back to this shawl. There were sooo many stitches towards the end. The rows were very long. The pattern is pretty and I love this yarn. I think Laci is my favorite yarn from BMFA. It's soft and light and comes in lovely colors.

WIP Wednesday

Glenallen - This is my "G" for my Lace A-Z Project. It's coming along slowly. The rows are getting very long.

Garter Rib Baby Blanket - This is my current mindless knitting project. I love the colors. It's very soothing to knit.
